Your tax-deductible donation* to our Annual Fund does two things: 1) it helps create the spaces that welcome local curators, musicians, theatre producers and engaged audiences and 2) makes you part of this generative process. We could not do what we do without the generosity of our members, donors, sponsors, artists and audience.

Logan Fringe Arts Space, in its Phase 1 operation, is a functional multi-use arts facility and community center on the edge of the Trinidad neighborhood in NE DC. We offers a unique producing and presenting experience for individual curators, artists and neighbors. Fringe works in partnership, providing support services, with theatre artists or producers, visual artists, musicians, individual curators and creative entrepreneurs.

Founded in 2006, the annual Fringe Festival held each July, starting in 2006 serves as celebration of cultural democracy and art for everyone. By embracing diversity and a spirit of independence, we create or rent a series of theatre spaces made available to participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Our aim is to challenge perceptions and shake up the hierarchy, to be brave and unafraid and to serve as a launching pad for unseasoned to existing theatre artists.

Fringe Music employs individual curators to program music events at the Logan Fringe Arts Space and the annual Fringe Festival.

Fringe Art gives space to visual artists and curators to exhibit their art at the Logan Fringe Arts Space and other locations in the District. Fringe retains 10% of the sale of all art the remainder is given to the artists.

Launching in the 2018 Fringe Festival July 7 - 29 Fringe will conduct a national search for new plays or new adaptations of Greek, Roman, world cultures (Asia, India, Africa, South American to Caribbean), folklore or myth. Up to three new plays will be presented and produced during the 2018 Fringe Festival using DC area actors, directors and theatre artists.
