Your tax-deductible donation* to our Annual Fund does two things: 1) it helps create the spaces that welcomes local curators, musicians, theatre producers and engaged audiences and 2) makes you part of this generative process. We could not do what we do without the generosity of our donors, sponsors, artists and audience.
Logan Fringe Arts Space, in its Phase 1 operation, is a functional multi-use arts facility and community center on the edge of the Trinidad neighborhood in NE DC. We offered a unique producing and presenting experience for individual curators, artists and neighbors. Fringe worked in partnership, providing support services, with theatre artists or producers, visual artists, musicians, individual curators and creative entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2006, the annual Fringe Festival held each July, starting in 2006 serves as celebration of cultural democracy and art for everyone. By embracing diversity and a spirit of independence, we create or rent a series of theatre spaces made available to participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Our aim is to challenge perceptions and shake up the hierarchy, to be brave and unafraid and to serve as a launching pad for unseasoned to existing theatre artists.
Fringe Curates, curated and commissioned works by emerging and established artist across disciplines. Works range from dance, music, performance, and theatre, to art.
We invite you to support Capital Fringe and then visit us to see the impact of your gift. Your support is visible throughout our programming calendar.
