Coup Sauvage & the Snips play music that is celebratory and revelatory. Accusatory and against authority. Confrontational and informational. A soundtrack for the children to watch the first-world burn. Ready? Doesn’t matter.
Horse Lords: It’s tempting to call Horse Lords a math- or prog-rock band, and neither would be wrong. But both would be misleading. Their jagged figures and skilled repetitions all serve an experience, one that’s much more exhilarating than anything achievable through honing musical chops or solving numerical equations.
