Believe it or not, there are only five more days left in the 2018 Capital Fringe Festival! If you’ve been loving this year’s performances as much as we have, you might be feeling a bit of #festivalburnout from trying to squeeze so much fun into three weeks. Follow these tips to get the most out of #CapFringe2018 until the very end!
Don’t Let the Weather Get You Down
Unfortunately, this week’s stormy forecast has led to several cancelled outdoor events, including our rooftop How to Fringe Happy Hours and our Market SW Box Office and Concerts. But fear not! There are still plenty of ways to enjoy Fringe while staying cozy and dry. Tickets to all Fringe performances are still available online and at each performance location. Use these gray days as an excuse to take in even more theatre! Between now and Sunday, there are over 120 performances scheduled. Take this opportunity to shake things up by seeing something completely out of your comfort zone- you never know what you’ll learn!
Take a Shopping Break!
While you recharge your theatrical batteries, don’t forget to take advantage of all the 2018 Button Discounts while you still can! Spend a day shopping on the Wharf before taking in a performance, or try out a tasty new restaurant like Kaliwa, Requin, or Lupo Marino. These deals won’t last for much longer, so make the most of the final days of Fringe with all of our fantastic Southwest vendors.
Tell Us What You Loved
Join us at Pearl Street Warehouse on Sunday night for the Festival’s Closing Ceremonies and Audience Awards! Cast your vote for what performances you loved, and come out to support your favorite artists as we reveal who will take home the title of #BestofFringe. And while you cast your vote, give us a shout on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, and let us know what performances stood out to you. We can’t wait to hear about what productions you’re loving this year!
So, don’t let the gray skies give you Fringe Fatigue yet! Keep taking advantage of every opportunity, and make the most of this final week of the Festival. Happy Fringe-ing!
