FESTIVAL COUNT DOWN #CAPFRINGE18
FIVE DAYS UNTIL FRINGE BEGINS!
If you’re a first time fringe-goer or even a return attendee and looking for some guidance, we get it. At first, the festival can seem pretty overwhelming. There are over 400 individual performances in multiple venues and it can be hard to figure out where to start. Luckily we can help!
One way to begin is by choosing some shows! The best way to do this to go to our festival guide, and pick a venue, any venue. The shows being performed at that location will be summarized and listed by date and time. See what shows call out to you and then pick the ones that work for your schedule.
If you’re less interested in the particular genre or style, then I would recommend going to our website and looking at the show schedule by day and time. This way you can find any show that works best for your schedule, whether it is a Friday or a Tuesday!
In addition to the awesome shows, there is so much more that makes the festival so wonderful! Southwest DC is full of fun restaurants and fringe events as listed in our #7days blog post. We recommend making a day of it on the weekends. A perfect Saturday is a trip to the market SW farmers market, paddle-board at the Wharfs waterfront, grab dinner at a snazzy joint like Kaliwa, see an awesome Fringe show, and then head to Rooftop Jams at CityBar to close the night!
It’s going to be awesome. You’ve got this!
